Frankie Apothecary Kawakawa Repair Balm is a natural, multi-purpose skin repair balm designed for eczema-prone, dry and sensitive skin requiring protective barrier support without synthetic additives. The formulation centres on two distinct kawakawa extracts, a slow-infused oil and a concentrated leaf extract, working alongside a specialty botanical wax complex to create a protective layer at the skin surface that locks moisture in and addresses the d moisture loss characteristic of eczema-prone and reactive skin.

Shea butter contributes emollient depth and barrier reinforcement, while a blended botanical wax system combining beeswax, Acacia flower wax and sunflower seed wax reduces moisture loss more effectively than single-wax formulations. Calendula flower extract provides anti-inflammatory calming and a plant-derived delivery ingredient ensures active kawakawa compounds are absorbed into the skin rather than remaining at the surface.

Rather than addressing moisture at the surface alone, the wax and botanical system works at the barrier level to support the skin's capacity to retain moisture independently over time.
